MICROGAMING TO CREATE FIRST EVER SLOT TOURNAMENT MILLIONAIRE
ISLE OF MAN - Microgaming, the world's largest provider of online
gaming software, today announced the new 'Grand Slam of Slots' tournament
which is set to create the first ever online slot tournament millionaire.
Over the summer months, players from participating Microgaming
casinos will battle it out to secure a place in the final. The tournament
winner will receive a record-breaking €1m and hundreds of other
huge cash prizes will be up for grabs.
The final will run over a nine-day period from 5pm GMT on 22nd January until 10pm GMT on 2nd February 2010. Players
will be able to keep track of their progress via the tournament
leader board and the top scoring player will win the life changing
€1m first prize.
Microgaming's Casino Channel Lead, Mike Hebden says: "Microgaming
is set to become part of online gaming history again, by creating
the first ever online slot tournament millionaire. Approximately
9,000 players will take part in the final, all competing for a piece
of the massive €1.3 million prize pool. This raises the bar
and sets a new standard for online slot tournaments.
"As a market leader, it is our aim to present new and unique
offerings, and the 'Grand Slam of Slots' is a testament to Microgaming's
customer-centric approach."
